Been circling dating app is the most popular among college students for a while now. My rule with dating app: whether messaging is open or gated behind credits first, everything else second.
My problem with every answer on dating app is that the free and paid experiences barely overlap, and that is exactly the gap I am trying to close. For dating app, how the interface holds up on mobile is the difference between useful and a waste of an evening.
The quick sanity pass I run on dating app:
- Work out whether replies are open before you finish the profile against what the marketing page claims
- Watch how many matches ever send the first message on mobile data, not office wifi
- Work out what share of the layout is advertising twice, a week apart
If you gave up on dating app, what actually happened? Praise and complaints equally useful. Firsthand accounts are what I came here for.
