Guides and comparisons

Our guides describe what free dating services actually let you do without paying. Where a service changes its free tier, we update the guide rather than leaving the old claim standing.

Community threads

Community threads are member discussions. They reflect the views of the members who wrote them, not the position of FlurryDate. We moderate for abuse and personal information rather than for opinion, and we do not remove a thread because it is critical of a service we link to.

Commercial relationships

FlurryDate links to other dating services, some under commercial arrangements. Those arrangements do not buy a ranking, do not buy a positive description, and do not give a partner any say over community discussion.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us through the contact page with the URL and what should change. Corrections are made to the page itself rather than appended as a note.

How guides are written

Guides are written against the service as it behaves for a new free account, not against a press release. Where we state that something is free, it means a new account could do it without payment at the time of writing. Free tiers change without notice, which is why guides carry a modified date and why we would rather rewrite a claim than footnote it.

What we do not publish

We do not publish invented local detail. Where a page covers a city, it says what we can support — the country, the language of the service, what the free tier includes — rather than inventing neighbourhoods, venues or member counts to make the page look substantial. If a page cannot say something useful about a place, it says less.

Age policy

All content on FlurryDate is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Guides, community threads and member profiles all assume an adult audience, and the site is not designed for or directed at minors.
