Going to be blunt about how to find genuine free online personals because I'm tired of guessing. You can ignore most of the marketing around find genuine and just check how the interface holds up on mobile after the first week.
The frustrating thing about find genuine is that every source has something to sell, which is why I want firsthand accounts. I judge find genuine almost entirely on whether the profiles hold up under scrutiny outside the big cities.
My shortlist when weighing find genuine, in order:
- Sanity-check what the block and report flow actually does before you commit any time to it
- Test whether the same faces cycle back the next day and write the answer down
- Pin down how long it takes before the first upgrade prompt lands with notifications switched off
- Count how the feed changes when you narrow the age range with the age filter set narrow
- Pin down how many profiles carry more than two photos in your own city rather than the default radius
For anyone still using find genuine, what did the first week look like? Praise and complaints both welcome. Real usage notes are what I am actually after.
