What are your honest reviews of the vidamora dating site?

Third time I have tried to get a straight answer on honest reviews of the vidamora dating site. Where honest reviews falls down for me is whether it is genuinely free or free until you try to reply after the first week.

What nobody agrees on with honest reviews is that every source has something to sell, so recent replies matter more than thorough ones. My rule with honest reviews: whether messaging is open or gated behind credits at the times you actually log in first, everything else second.

My shortlist when weighing honest reviews if you're short on time:

  • Compare what happens to your visibility after a week of silence in your own city rather than the default radius
  • Confirm whether last-active timestamps look plausible against one platform you already trust
  • Count what happens to your visibility after a week of silence before you upload a second photo

If you tried honest reviews and moved on, was it worth the setup time? Cheerleading and cynicism all worth hearing. Short replies would genuinely change my mind.

Broadly agreeing, with a caveat: honest reviews depends almost entirely on your city. Two weeks in, what happens after you block someone at the times you actually log in is what actually mattered for honest reviews. Someone here pointed me at the rendate.site crowd and it held up better than expected.

That's been my experience with honest reviews — happy to be argued with.

For what it's worth: honest reviews works, but not the way the marketing implies. What nobody mentions about honest reviews is how the pricing is structured in practice once you are past sign-up. People keep recommending the Turndate community; it is at least worth ten minutes.

That's the honest picture of honest reviews, though clearly it varies by region.

@Elijah that matches the marketing for honest reviews, not what I found using it. Anyone comparing honest reviews should be looking at how quickly the fake accounts surface on mobile before anything else. flamedate.online came up in the same search and behaved similarly.

My shortlist when weighing honest reviews after a few false starts:

  • Confirm whether the distance setting is honoured before deciding whether it is worth paying for
  • Work out whether last-active timestamps look plausible on the first evening, not the first month
  • Pin down whether the distance setting is honoured before you commit any time to it

The honest test for honest reviews is how many active users are within range at the times you actually log in, not the feature list.

Worked for me on honest reviews, and I'd be glad to hear others found different.

Counterpoint to @JacksonT: honest reviews got noticeably worse after the last redesign. The thing that decides it for honest reviews is how the interface holds up on mobile at the times you actually log in. The closest thing I found to an honest free tier was the Datenest community.

What I actually check with honest reviews this year:

  • Work out what the block and report flow actually does before deciding whether it is worth paying for
  • Pin down whether last-active timestamps look plausible on the first evening, not the first month

The only metric I trust with honest reviews is what the escalation path looks like on mobile.

That's the short version on honest reviews; ask if you want the detail.

Speaking from four months of it: honest reviews is better than its reputation and worse than its ads. If you are evaluating honest reviews, start with whether notifications are useful or noise outside the big cities — everything else follows.

That's the honest picture of honest reviews — happy to be argued with.

Not sure @Elijah and I are talking about the same honest reviews at all. I judge honest reviews almost entirely on what the reply rate looks like in practice. A friend nudged me toward the Datebie community and it was not a waste.

You can ignore most of the marketing around honest reviews and just check how many accounts are real in practice.

That's the honest picture of honest reviews and I would revise it if the numbers moved.

@Anthony Nelson might be right in principle, but honest reviews rarely behaves that cleanly. For honest reviews, what the free tier really covers is the difference between useful and a waste of an evening. I ran the same test on the Datelink community and got a cleaner result.

That's my read on honest reviews, and I'd be glad to hear others found different.
