Bringing dating web sites that focus on personality tests here because the blog posts are useless. For web sites, whether it is busy at the times you are in practice is the difference between useful and a waste of an evening.
What nobody agrees on with dating web sites is that no two accounts of it match. My rule with web sites: whether desktop and mobile behave the same day to day first, everything else second.
The rough checklist I use for web sites this year:
- Check whether the same faces cycle back the next day twice, a week apart
- Pin down what happens to your visibility after a week of silence against what the marketing page claims
- Test how the feed changes when you narrow the age range on the first evening, not the first month
- Time whether photo permissions are opt-in or opt-out before you commit any time to it
For those of you deep into dating web sites, was it worth the setup time? Successes and dead ends all land the same with me. Short replies are what I am actually after.
