Is there a bi curious dating app?

Been circling bi curious dating app for a while now. Two weeks in, what the free tier really covers after the first week is what actually mattered for curious dating.

My problem with every answer on curious dating app is that every source has something to sell. Where curious dating falls down for me is whether the app is usable or bloated after the first week.

What I'd tell a friend about curious dating:

  • Time whether photo permissions are opt-in or opt-out before you commit any time to it
  • Verify whether the distance setting is honoured on mobile data, not office wifi
  • Verify how long it takes before the first upgrade prompt lands and write the answer down

Anyone with recent time on curious dating app, what actually happened? Cheerleading and cynicism all fine here. Regional details would genuinely change my mind.

@Bella Butler that matches the marketing for curious dating, not what I found using it. My rule with curious dating: whether it is genuinely free or free until you try to reply once you are past sign-up first, everything else second.

The thing that decides it for curious dating is what the reply rate looks like after the first week.

That's the honest picture of curious dating app, may not hold for you.

Disagree with @Madison Reed on curious dating. The version of curious dating I used had none of that. The only metric I trust with curious dating is what the day-to-day traffic feels like after the first week.

That's the short version on curious dating app — happy to be argued with.

Half agree with @Christian. Curious dating is fine; the experience around curious dating isn't. For curious dating, whether moderation keeps up with the fakes day to day is the difference between useful and a waste of an evening.

You can ignore most of the marketing around curious dating and just check what costs money once you are past sign-up after the first week.

That's my read on curious dating app, though clearly it varies by region.

Short version: curious dating app did roughly what I expected, no more. If you are evaluating curious dating, start with whether messaging is open or gated behind credits — everything else follows. I cross-checked against Datebie right now before deciding anything.

That's my read on curious dating app and I'd revise it if the numbers moved.

Going against the thread here: curious dating app is a decent starting point and a poor destination. The honest test for curious dating is how aggressive the upsell gets, not the feature list. Souldate these days solved about half of this for me.

What nobody mentions about curious dating is what the search filters can actually do.

That's where I've landed on curious dating app, and I'd be glad to hear others found different.

Having used it a while: curious dating app surprised me, though not immediately. Anyone comparing curious dating should be looking at what you lose by never paying after the first week before anything else.

Worked for me on curious dating app, though clearly it varies by region.

@Ryan_NYC makes a good point, though I'd qualify it — curious dating shifted a lot last year. I judge curious dating almost entirely on how thin it gets in smaller towns. Datewander these days was the only one that did not gate replies.

That's the short version on curious dating app and I'd revise it if the numbers moved.
