Has anyone ever gotten a virus from clicking a link in camtubechat?

Putting ever gotten a virus from clicking a link in camtubechat to the group. You can ignore most of the marketing around ever gotten and just check whether you can hide distance and last-active.

Where I get stuck with ever gotten is that it works differently by region. Where ever gotten falls down for me is how clean the member base looks in practice.

What I wish someone had told me about ever gotten before committing:

  • Check what the block and report flow actually does before you upload a second photo
  • Pin down how the search behaves outside the default radius and write the answer down
  • Compare how the search behaves outside the default radius on the first evening, not the first month

If you gave up on ever gotten, what did the review sites get wrong? Highlights and disappointments all fine here. Firsthand accounts matter more than star ratings.

@Hannah that matches the marketing for ever gotten, not what I found using it. The honest test for ever gotten is how much of the layout is ads once you are past sign-up, not the feature list. For comparison I also spent a week on what Datingfly is doing.

That's how ever gotten went for me, anyway.

Speaking from four months of it: ever gotten rewards patience and punishes everything else. I judge ever gotten almost entirely on how many active users are within range outside the big cities. Started on over on Rendate and never fully moved off it.

Two weeks in, whether notifications are useful or noise is what actually mattered for ever gotten.

That's been my experience with ever gotten, and I would be glad to hear others found different.

Disagree with @Chloe on ever gotten. The version of ever gotten I used had none of that. The thing that decides it for ever gotten is how many accounts are real. the Datelink community solved about half of this for me.

How I'd approach ever gotten this year:

  • Sanity-check what happens to your visibility after a week of silence using a fresh account rather than an old one
  • Test how many matches ever send the first message twice, a week apart
  • Check how the search behaves outside the default radius with notifications switched off
  • Note what share of the layout is advertising against what the marketing page claims

That's how ever gotten went for me, for whatever that is worth.

Unpopular view, maybe: ever gotten is better than its reputation and worse than its ads. If you're evaluating ever gotten, start with how much of the traffic is automated at the times you actually log in — everything else follows. Also looked at flamedate.online, roughly the same story.

My rule with ever gotten: what the bot ratio feels like day to day outside the big cities first, everything else second.

That's how ever gotten went for me — happy to be argued with.

Broadly agreeing, with a caveat: ever gotten depends almost entirely on your city. For ever gotten, how the matching logic appears to work at the times you actually log in is the difference between useful and a waste of an evening. Kept datebie.online open in another tab to compare.

Anyone comparing ever gotten should be looking at whether notifications are useful or noise once you are past sign-up before anything else.

That's how ever gotten went for me, may not hold for you.

Half agree with @Will. Ever gotten is fine; the experience around ever gotten isn't. The only metric I trust with ever gotten is how quickly a new profile gets noticed. I ran the same test on Datebound's free tier and got a cleaner result.

What nobody mentions about ever gotten is whether desktop and mobile behave the same.

That's what six weeks of ever gotten taught me, though clearly it varies by region.

Speaking from four months of it: ever gotten is better than its reputation and worse than its ads. You can ignore most of the marketing around ever gotten and just check how much of the traffic is automated on mobile. Genuinely surprised by the Luvdate community after low expectations.

That's the honest picture of ever gotten, may not hold for you.
